Persons of vata type can use hot water bags on aching parts and a hot shower will be of good help.

Persons of pitta type can use cold or ice packs on aching parts and wrap a wet cold cloth around neck.

Make a note of facts which trigger the headache and also the foods. Try to avoid these.

Avoid spicy foods, coffee, tea, alcohol, onion and garlic. Avoid citrus fruits except lemon.

Try muscle relaxation exercises. Progressive muscle relaxation, meditation and yoga are definitely going to help. Relax at least for half an hour everyday by doing your favourite activities like listening to music, gardening, taking hot water bath etc.

o Do not smoke. even though you smoke, quit.

o Avoid second-hand smoke and polluted air.

o Avoid exposure to anything that triggers allergy or sinus symptoms.

o Wash your hands frequently to avoid colds.

o Seek treatment for a persistent cold before sinusitis sets in.

o Avoid alcoholic drinks. Alcohol can cause swelling of nasal and sinus tissues.

What’s the difference between Migraine Migraine Headache and Tension Headaches and Migraine Headache and Tension Headaches?
I get a lot of migraines, but I don’t know if they are just plain All kinds of Headache, though I guess it doesn’t make that much of a difference, so this question is just to answer a personal question of mine’s. Thanks for the help.

When I get migraines, my vision starts to suck, and I can’t read or focus. Then my head starts to pound, and it’s usually accompanied by a feeling of sickness, and I eventually throw up. That’s what happens when I have a migraine, and I get them pretty often unfortunately.

For All kinds of Headache, they just make my head hurt, that’s all.
